This city is located in the Northern part of the state in a family otiented community of 10,000 people.

You are 90 minutes to Bangor Maine and 2 hours to Portand Maine and less then 1 hour to Presque Isle where the airport and medical school are located.

The hospital is a small critical access hospital. There are 28 bed skilled nursing/nursing home beds on the hospital campus. The Hospital serves a populaton of 30,000 people. Services are typical of those ofa rural community hospital and include a 24 hour physician covered ER. This is a Cap exempt opportunity JIVISA & HIB VISA Physicians Please Respond

DETAILS

This will be a Outpatient practice . You will be joining 2 pediatric physicians as well as a NP and a PA.

The outpatient clinic is Monday to Friday with the Work Week Monday -Thursday or Tuesday - Friday

The Provider will see 16 patients per day. The providers are responsible for the newborn nursery.

Pediatricians attend a birth it there is a problem or if it is a unscheduled C-Section after hours and you are

on call . Call is 1 in 2 and the call is via Phone. Last year there were approximately 100 births.

45 were C-Sections 30 were preplanned. The pediatrician does not normally have to attend C-sections.

This hospital is contracted with a neo-natal unit, who comes should the need arise.

Base salary is Competitive
