Radiology Need in Bluefield Metro Area Virginia
General Radiologist with basic I.R. Skills (thoracentesis and paracentesis, minimum, PICC Line preferred)
Be able to do 3D mammography - Automated Breast Ultrasound certification.
Comfortable reading whole body MRI
General Nuclear Medicine (VA, HIDA, bone scan) with PET/CT (8-10 procedures)
Total number of readers - 130 - 175 exams depending on ED volume; Approximately 25- 35 CT Scans; 7-10 MRI; 12 - 15 mammography, 15 ultrasound.
May consider telerad.
Telerad: They would read daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – approximately 120 studies per day – X-ray (40) C.T. (25), Ultrasound (20), Nuclear Medicine (4-5), M.R.I. (10)
