J1/H1b: DAY SHIFT HOSPITALIST invited to award winning hospital in safe, scenic, family-friendly northern Maine – 7/7 schedule, great package – FP/IM welcome

Houlton, Maine: We seek a skilled HOSPITALIST to provide inpatient care in an award-winning critical access hospital serving the residents of Aroostook County in northeastern Maine. Join one of America’s Top Rural Hospitals and enjoy a wonderful work/life balance in a scenic and recreation-rich community.

Your schedule will be 7 days on/7 days off, 7am-7pm. Join 2 full time Hospitalists on a team supplemented by per diem doctors who cover for vacations, etc. This respected medical center has 16 acute care beds and 4 intermediate care beds with an average daily census of 14. ICU patients are moved to a larger facility. The remaining beds are Acute Care patients, Med/Surg patients, observation patients, swing patients and patients waiting to be placed. Daily admissions average 1-4. Procedures not required.

MD/DO Physicians trained in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Med/Peds are all welcome here.
