Primary Care Internal Medicine Physician Gallup, NM
Locums, Inc. is seeking Physicians board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medical, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics to provide Primary Care services at the IHS Hospital facility in Gallup, New Mexico. Providers will need to be able to be on-site for one month at a time or longer. All state and Federal licenses accepted at all government facilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Primary Care Clinic includes providing diagnosis, treatment, medication prescription, immunizations, and injury care.
- Clinic hours are 7am – 7pm, Monday through Sunday
- 8 or 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Some Weekends and Holidays included
- Period of performance: 4/1/24 to 6/30/24 with longer assignment time available
- Estimated 1-2 patients/hour
- Malpractice Insurance provided
- Travel, lodging, and per diem provided for non-local providers
- Position is a 1099 contract
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted state or Federal license
- Valid Fitness for Duty Certificate from a physician
- Current Vaccination/Immunization documentation
- BC/BE by ABFM, ABIM, and ABIM/ABP for Med-Ped
- Active and unrestricted DEA
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
