• Team: 6 current Full-time Faculty in Cardiothoracic Imaging
o Reasonable clinical volume; 1:7 rotating cardiothoracic only call schedule with no general call required.
• Faculty Leadership Role with a minimum of 20% protected time to pursue academic/research endeavors; Candidate preferred to be currently at the Associate or Full Professor Rank.
• Successful Candidate will have a proven track record of clinical/academic excellence; will be a leader who will have achieved national recognition that will serve to benefit and advance the UCI Cardiothoracic Section.
o Will provide progressive leadership in a highly technology focused practice environment that is among the nation’s leaders in AI Research and Implementation
o Oversee clinical operations of the section, mentor faculty, promote research, educational programs, and work collaboratively with faculty and section heads.
o Competitive compensation includes base salary, production incentives, an administrative stipend; plus, full benefits to include pension plan.
