Oncology – Bay Area, CA – Locums Tenens
The Oncology locum tenens opportunity in San Francisco…
-Location: San Francisco, CA
-Duration: July 2022 – July 2023
-Schedule: Full-time (may consider a 4 day work week)
-Shift: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p or 9a-6p
-Call: 1:5 weeks
(for the week on call: covering two hospitals, approximately 5-10 consults/rounding in the morning and then a reduced afternoon clinic)
-Clinic Volume: 12-14 patients per day (once ramped up and not on call)
-Scope: Community hematology and oncology
(Emphasis on breast oncology and ability to be consulted on non-solid tumors would be a plus!)
-EMR: Epic EMR
-Group: Pharmacist on site that evaluates therapy, NPs are in a pool and shared by providers (NPs take 1st call and oral chemo educations)
-Affiliated Hospital: Community based
-Requirements: Board certified with a California license and COVID vaccine + 2 boosters (state mandated)
