Ongoing Hospitalist Locum in Kingston, NY Area

Start date: as soon as fully credentialed (process takes about 30 days)

End date: ongoing assignment

Compensation: based upon availability (please call me to discuss)

Paid travel, lodging and malpractice insurance

Facility Details:

• On-site during the day.

• Feb 1-9 the hospital has Meditech Magic EMR. Feb 9 onward, transitioning to Meditech Expanse.

• Responsible for rounding on Acute Med beds, sub-acute Rehab beds, and Nursing Home beds

• HM patient encounters per day: 5-7 on average

• HM Physician is on-call at night and must be able to come to the hospital within 20 minutes. Can get called in for floor patient issues.

• HM Physician provides oversight to the EM APP.

• HM Physician helps EM APP during ED volume surges and/or procedures.

• HM Physician has to come back to the hospital at night for any CTs with contrast

• Hospital has on-site call room.
