300-350K Brand New Behavioral Health Program

Seeking an experienced Psychiatrist that wants to create and lead a substantial new Behavioral Health initiative at a well established medical system that serves western and central Illinois. $300-$350K

*Craft and Manage a new area of medical access for a large regional medical system
*Clinically oversee two PMHNPs
*Manage the system's growth, opening two new locations in 2023
*100% Out Patient, hospital associated
*This role requires strong leadership ability and a vision for providing behavioral health treatment
*Compensation is crafted relative to experience and training quality.

The new hire psychiatrist will be supervising two experienced and established PMHNPs. Illinois is not a full practice state, so managing these prescribers is a key aspect of the role. You establish the method and manner of that supervision, as they travel between the existing five clinics. Mental Health issues among patients in the area have exploded in new demand for treatment and care.

You help create the psychiatry program along with the executive administration. In this role you will play an important role in the larger community. You will create the approach for community outreach and education in the region. No doubt as the medical system continues to grow and open new locations the need for additional psychiatric clinicians will be determined by you.
