Facility/Opportunity: A 465-bed JCAHO accredited multispecialty hospital offering care to the community 1962. The Hospital is part of a major Healthcare Corporation, who owns and operates 54 nationwide acute care hospitals. Level II Trauma Center facility with 33 ED beds and an annual ED patient volume of 100,000+. There’s a 42-bed open ICU (SICU, CVICU, CCU, NCCU). One of the largest tertiary care hospitals in the area as well as a top tier hospital in the community. Extensive on-call panel and subspecialists, including neurosurgery, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, interventional radiology and more. Opportunity: Join a newly established Brain & Spine Institute (1206d hospital-based clinic). Private practice setup - 100% of overhead covered by the clinic. Call will be 1 in 4 rotation (shared with 3 other local Neurologists) and it is heavily compensated. There is 56% deficit of Neurologists in Service Area currently - virtually no competition! Compensation: Income guarantee model, offered by the hospital, includes a 1 year income guarantee, sign-on bonus, relocation expenses, malpractice/tail coverage, CME allowance and full benefits. First-year income guarantee approximately $290,000 for a general Neurologist (based on MGMA data and adjustable based on certifications and experience) but the potential is much higher. $350,000 starting base for Stroke Neurologist!
