The right physician will enjoy strong community support and referrals from two dozen primary care physicians in this group. Board certified or prepared in Adult/general Psychiatry is expected. This position offers a competitive salary of $2?10?,000 - $2?50?,000 plus productivity- Potential is over $400,000.00, a comprehensive benefits plan to include retirement plan with employer contribution, a sign on bonus, student loan assistance much more. H1 visa is acceptable here.
Through its Behavioral Center, This employer provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and mental health services to a large, underserved regional population of about 400,000 . The Center includes secure facilities for both adults and children which are the only lock-up units in a 100 mile radius. There are currently eight psychiatrists. They are all board certified in general psychiatry while some are also certified in areas of sub-specialization. There are four adult and general, three child and adolescent, and one geriatric psychiatrist. All have extremely busy practices, and continued growth in demand makes it desirable to add another psychiatrist who will be the Consultation and Liaison specialist for the group and help the Hospital meet contractual obligations for professional psychiatric services at area mental health agencies, provide telepsychiatry services to outlying facilities, and extend outpatient services.
